Recently I wrote a paper on creatively fresh marketing in and around our world for my writing class. Focusing on a product I currently use on a day to day basis, I researched the company’s ethics of business and the images they portray through their products and advertisements. It’s interesting to sit back and look at companies and realize that the sale is not always because of the product itself, but the image the product represents. The paper was centered around identifying these images and their psychological effects on people around the world.
In my research I stumbled upon Paprika Lab’s blog page and found some very interesting advertisements. Not only do they grab your attention, but they are also quite interactive and fun. I especially liked the trash can as a basketball court, as well as the wheelchair toilet. See it for yourself here.
On another note, if you want to have a good laugh, check out the company I researched for my paper here.
Here’s some of the stuff I shot over the weekend at the Baja Brawl (finally took some time off from my five college classes to put this together). Overall, a GREAT weekend of racing, with riders like Kyle Corman, Trevor Donie, Travis Sewell, and Jerry Lorenz in the A classes.
I’m happy to finally announce the opening of my new website! A lot of you know my work, so be sure to check out the WORK page to see videos, pictures and links, old and NEW. Be on the lookout for new content to be posted on a fairly regular basis. I’ll be using this page to update all of you on new work from 2008 and beyond, as well as local event coverage such as the recent Baja Brawl, where you can already view photos - video to come soon.
Back to work!

My name is Benjamin Bixby. I am 20 years old and currently finishing my last semester at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan, before heading off for Savannah, Georgia, to check out the Savannah College of Art and Design. Although racing motocross was my first love, it was through motocross that I found my second; videography, photography, motion graphics and web development.
